For whatever reason, my satellite receiver has been "skipping". I called the company and they said they would have to replace the receiver. I got the replacement the other day and decided to hook it up tonight. What should have taken ten minutes ended up taking an hour! I missed the first 5 minutes of Supernatural but eventually got the thing working. GO ME! And the Customer Service Rep who stayed on the phone with me!
Meanwhile, Eldest is in my bathroom cleaning her ears. We recently got her ears pierced again. The Youngest got her ears pierced too. I've been cleaning The Youngest's earrings for obvious reasons but tonight Eldest decided she could do it. Nothing can be easy though. The Youngest comes running in the living room screaming: "Eldest can't get my earrings back in and she says the holes are closing up!" After calming The Youngest down, I eventually got her earrings back into her ears. Crisis averted!
So now I'm relaxing...listening to XMen 3 in the background with Mutt at my feet. Life's good!

You go girl! Woman vs. Technology and YOU WON!
Why were the earrings out already? It hasn't been that long, has it? (six weeks?)
Happy you resolved your tech problem. Those 5 min jobs just seem to stretch out, don't they?
Ah, ear piercing. Takes me back when my Eldest was 12. That was the year I told her she could have it done. Had it done at the doc's office during the annual visit. She gave an almighty scream when he did the first ear and then went hysterical. Took me an hour to calm her down. "You have to have the other ear done, or you'll look like a pirate!" My Young One wants no part of pierced ears.
Yup, my girl said "no thanks" to ear piercing.
Now that you've conquered satellite tv, Look Out Geek Squad! You go, girl! But you've always been way more tech savvy than me.
Bonnie!!! I didn't know you had a blog. Guess I should have anwered the writing on the facebook wall---LOL. Have to admit I'm a completely technology challenged when it comes to playing on the pc. Someone talked me into the Facebook account and I just let stuff pile up on me.
But, I'm glad you've got a blog--now I can check in and see what you and the kids are doing.
Welcome to blogland!
